Dear Members, Industry Partners, and Future Members,
Welcome to another exciting year with the Mortgage Bankers Association of Central Florida.
First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to Michelle Mendez and the outstanding leaders who have served before me. Their dedication, vision, and countless volunteer hours have strengthened this organization and positioned us for an incredible future. I am honored to follow in their footsteps and serve as your President.
As I look across our industry, I am reminded that none of us succeeds alone. Whether you are a lender, mortgage broker, banker, builder, Realtor, title professional, appraiser, attorney, servicer, vendor, or industry partner, we all play a role in helping families achieve homeownership and build financial futures.
That is why I believe so strongly in the mission of our association.
The MBA of Central Florida is more than a trade organization. It is a community of professionals committed to learning, growing, leading, and elevating one another. It is a place where ideas are exchanged, relationships are built, challenges are discussed openly, and opportunities are created.
My vision for this year is simple: to continue building an organization where iron sharpens iron.
An organization where experienced leaders mentor emerging professionals.
An organization where healthy discussion leads to better solutions.
An organization where education keeps us informed, advocacy gives us a voice, and collaboration strengthens our businesses and our industry.
An organization where every member—regardless of title, company, or years of experience—has an opportunity to contribute, lead, and make an impact.
The mortgage industry continues to evolve. Regulatory changes, market shifts, technology, affordability challenges, and changing consumer expectations require us to adapt constantly. The professionals who thrive will be those who remain committed to learning and surrounding themselves with others who challenge them to grow.
That is exactly what the MBA of Central Florida provides.
Through our educational programs, networking events, leadership opportunities, and connection to the state and national MBA, we have an incredible platform to develop ourselves, strengthen our companies, and advance our profession.
I also want to extend a personal invitation to those who are not yet involved.
